Default Engine Temp Help

got a K5 SV650S

starts fine rides fine BUT i notice as you ride the engine temp keeps goin up slowly till it gets to 93-95 even though im on the M40 doin 65-70ish MPH??

then it goes 95 - 87- 81 - 77 - 75 then stay in about 77-88

anyone else notic it or sumin up with my bike?????????????

Not sure about getting over 90 before the switch opens for the first time, it's probably a symptom of the cold weather.
The second part is entirely normal, it should drop quite suddenly when the thermostat opens then creep up then drop on a regularly basis.

Yep mine dose that too. Only done 190 miles and is now mothballed for the winter.

Hi ,yeah mine does pretty much the same temp range regardless of air temp ,seems reasonable to me.
