Re: rim tape ?
Red.
I don't think you'd notice the black that much on a red/silver bike. |

Re: rim tape ?
Rim tape has only two advantages,
1. it's cheap (and looks it) 2. it's easy to take off. If you really must then use paint, you'll get a far nicer effect. Or if you can't do it with paint and have to use tape, at least take more than 5 minutes toput it on, done well it's OK I guess, but poorly applied it looks really bad and tacky. Cheers Mark.

Re: rim tape ?
no!!! dont fit rim tape!!!
Do it properly; take the wheel off, and fix it to something to rotate it at a decent speed. The take a brush of the thickness you want the paint line to be, and just hold it on the rim. Then it wont be wonky (providing you have a steady hand) Matt |

Re: rim tape ?
Well, red on an otherwise all black bike (with perhaps red stickers for the motorcycle model e.g. GSXR, R6 etc) dosnt look bad
Its when you get a nice bike, then someone sticks day-glo green rim tape, and rushes the job aswell |
