Re: 1st track day booked
Don't want to de-rail the thread too much but you can overlay video on trackmaster too. Just downloading racechrono, will compare the two.
I was thinking about getting a cheapo camera. Any you could recommend? |

Tips:
Don't over think everything treat it as a day in Wales. Look forward and keep your own line. Do NOT get bullied off line by the fast boys. The good riders can overtake when it's safe to do so. Break the track into quarters and try to be as smooth as poss. Speed will slow you down. With a smooth line you will get quicker. Most of all have fun! It's a learning curve and fills you with so much confidence. |

Re: 1st track day booked
Some good advice here But i would add the following
Allow your tyres time to warm up, really, it is amazing how many people open up after the two sighting laps and bin it ! Allow plenty of space between you and the guy in front as you approach corners His braking point may not be yours! Remember you are responsible for the rider in fronts' safety It also gives you space to avoid him if for any reason he goes down Above all Have Fun it is not a race but an oppurtunity to ride without having to worry about cars or potholes Let us know how it all went. |

I did the Ron Haslam race school in 2010 but this is my first proper Trackday. I seriously hope it's sunny. Won't be pleased if it's wet.

It's with MSV. £99 for the day and Tommy Hill will be there too.
