When these people gonna realise that as soon as the water gets above centre of wheels the vehicle is gonna be floating, and 4WD is only good if the wheels can actually touch the road LOL - add a current to the water and it gets hilarious.

Had some laughs in recent snow watching 4X4 vehicles with summer tyres and overconfident drivers get into strife, lovely sailing past them in a Honda Jazz with winter tyres, I bet you couldn't print their thoughts.

You can get a land rover a good bit deeper than centreline of axles, the grot holes let the cab flood and keep traction

But yeah... plowing in like a mad bugger is never going to end well.
