Anyone owned/ridden a Suzuki RF?
As title really, I'm considering both the 600 & 900 variants at the minute on the basis they seem great value for what you get and I really like the styling (I accept I may be in the minority here).
I'm just curious if anyone has experience of them.

Re: Anyone owned/ridden a Suzuki RF?
Knew several owners but it was back in the mists of time. They loved them until they broke so before you take the plunge read up on their foibles. I believe it was something to do with the starter gears.
Lovely looking bikes in my opinion.

Re: Anyone owned/ridden a Suzuki RF?
I rode one once, was a decent weight, neutral riding position, all in a decent sports tourer. For some reason the press hated them and so did everyone who had read MCN etc. I don't know about any endemic problems, I think they were overall pretty reliable, but definitely worth a look.

If you're still thinking about 2-up then I remember Simon Hargreaves in PB at the time going on about how the RF900 was good with a pillion. Anecdotal I know.

Good sports tourer.
Did a few camping trip's with full luggage no problem.

Re: Anyone owned/ridden a Suzuki RF?
The 900 seems a better option than the 600 for me so I'm going to keep an eye out for a decent one nearby. Might have to up the budget though.
That said, I'm looking at a vfr 750 tomorrow. Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk

Re: Anyone owned/ridden a Suzuki RF?
Another great bike but popular so pricier, generally.
