New sv650s 2000 owner - SV650.org

Hi guys totally new member to the sv650 scene here from the uk, and I must say I am very pleased to own such a beautiful bike.

I bought the bike last Saturday from a local dealer it's a 2000 plate 650s has 7600 miles on Full service history, 12 months mot, in very well looked after condition, has had an iridium screen fitted, heated grips, R&G crash bungs and carbon fibre rear hugger.

On a not so light note though it only done 64 mile since buying it and the front cylinder isn't firing at all, it's looking like the cylinder head gasket has gone so I took it back to the dealer yesterday and they are gonna sort it for me, luckily still under there dealership warranty.......phew...hopefully will be getting it back in a couple of days and can get some more mileage on her, I must say I miss it already haha. Feels good to get the sv back again today turned out it had just duffed a plug and the oil that was in had emulsified with sitting for like 10 months before I bought it and just getting regular use now, safe to say it's running a dream at the moment

Finally changed my standard end can for a new one

. I purchased a danmoto one all the way from China, I was a bit cautious to start with as I didn't know what they were gonna be like but a few of my mates have them on there bikes and they rate them and I must say it sounds mega

, I ordered it with a baffle which I'm glad I did because without its just to loud, but this is just nice, here's a pic of how it sits
