R&G's worth every penny! - SV650.org

I was the imprompt victim of a smidsy this wednesday on my way home from work.

My injuries;- fractured wrist and forearm, bruised shoulder, hips,knee and inside my calf. verdict - OUCH!

Bike's injuries - broken mirror, BENT! brake pedal, scratched front and rear panels and one very bent and chewed R&G bung. Verdict - MMMMM thats not to bad, shame someone stole my mudguard while I was in hospital.

Moral of the story, GET YOURSELF DOWN THE SHOP £70 SPENT NOW WILL SAVE YOU £100'S IF YOU FELL OFF!

OH AND AS BIGAPE SAY'S "ALWAYS WEAR YER FERKING LEATHERS"
I'm glad I did despite the heatwave!

enjoy the weather guy's, i'll be sat at home wishing the next six weeks away!

thanks jonboy, as for the mudguard i'm not too bothered it had been damaged quite badly in the off so chukle to myself when i think about it.

I'm going to try and get to see my bike before it gets scrapped (am assuming that it's a write-off, seeing as front wheel was off the bike, etc.) and get some pics of it all, including the R&G's. Maybe see if I can salvage stuff like the tax, hugger, fender extenda. Was thinking of getting the R&G's off too, but then realised they're probably well-used by now. It could be worth seeing just what they did before the end, though!

hi i the guy who was hit is germany my r&g did a pretty good job of proteting the side no damage caused to the frame etc

shame they dont do something for the front as well

Went to the hospital today to be told "I'm very lucky" just a non-displaced hairline fracture along the tip of the styphoid. see you in two weeks.

Worst part i'm not even going sick, the worst part is I'm going for promotion and need to A; keep my sickness down and B; Impress the management, I hate wearing a brown nose.
As for london transport just don't get me started.

Will update you later on how the bike's doing.
