Default Swine Flu and the NHS Direct site

I'm not very well, so in the interests of safety I've been checking out
the NHS direct site for clues before I go bothering a professional.
During my little wander through the site I came across this little gem
on the Swine Flu pages.

RunkaBulla said on 19 July 2009

It all started when I woke up this morning in a right mess. I think
during the night I may have sharted. My voice has gone all crackling
and I have come out in rashers. I am also pinker than usual and I stink.

Awww, poorly Lozzo.

Get plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids, take a couple of paracetamol and most importantly, leave the farm animals alone...

If you feel really poorly, Aunty Jayne will come round and tuck you into bed with a hammer!

Get well soon Sweetie.

Queued for 30 mins to get the Tamiflu for my better half, amongst 30-odd others that had also been in contact with the dreaded .

Got her tucked up nice and warm, plenty of fluids & paracetamol - but i can't stop her digging holes in the back garden.

Starting to feel cr@ppy too

s'more than my bf did - he picked up the tamiflu and a load of groceries, left them at the front door, rang the bell and then legged it. ' Flu Buddy' indeed!

That is so caring, NOT!

You've probably already given it to him before it was obvious you had it.

If i'm going to get it, and get it bad, i want it now before all the hospital beds get taken.

to be fair, he was reluctant to catch it and take out half the fire brigade (I hadn't seen him for about 5 days at that point, so relatively low risk). But it did feel a bit harsh when I needed some tlc!

it's alright lozzo, I've been feeling crap since sunday. Hot throat, dizzy/lightheaded (although not that bad, just a bit fuzzy feeling) and generally tiredness etc...

Doubt it's swine flu but if it is, I don't feel that bad yet. I never bother with anti biotics unless there's a chance I might be hospitalised so hopefully my immune system will be able to kick the crap out of it without any help.

Reckon we could set up a "Swine Flu" section on here? All the infected members could chat in there without fear of the mods doing any moderating, because we're all obviously delerious and talking crap... A bit like putting a bus stop in a home for people with alzheimers disease

I was at the docs last night and apparantly I had it last week, although they don't test anymore...

Doc said you don't always get a fever btw. My symptoms were general tiredness, severe vomiting and diarrhoea. Lost just over a stone in 6 days with complete loss of appetite.

I'm very skeptical whether it was swine flu...and the doctor signed me off with no request from me!
