You have to be careful with music choice.
What you thinks cool might be C**p by others.

Well aware but thanks. If your expecting chart toppers you will be disappointed, but we are talking good bands that are very flexible and are happy to do requests.

And of course all whingers would be sent to have a little chat with the attitude adjuster, I think Gav would be ideal.

Definitely! If it gets discussed on the forum we will have everybody's wants, needs and opinions to compete with, but this will be a proposal from the GM, if anyone else want's to organise the AR they can tender too, they won't be able to not post and leave us to it.

That's the problem with making it an AR thing mate. 50% of this forum are whingers, many GMers included! An attitude of "I'll do it my way!" will **** a lot of people off, especially those that wanted to arrange their own AR and got outbid. You really have to be 100% conservative so as to appeal to all, and the pace cannot be rapid because a lot of people on this forum are newbies, slow or simply very law abiding.

This is why I think it'd be better to just do a rideout weekend in our own style. Then we can set our own rules and make it clear from the outset so only people who like the cut of our jib and swing of our danglies come along for the ride!

Ian, do you not remember the size of my back garden? Could maybe fit a couple of 2 man tents in it!

Nath, if you want to put in something for the AR then go for it! What you could do is a stripped, back to basics AR. Field, pub and a route as youve said above.
