Default Ever posted an 'unboxing' or product review video created by yourself on youtube?

If you have to ask what unboxing video's are, you're clearly not a geek - or - not the geek you thought you were I've just received my new bullet cam and recorder earlier today so been faffing around with it. Decided to put together a little review to show what you get in the box and an on-the-fly comparison to my old gear, along with my only criticism (it records in AVI format which can't be opened in adobe premiere cs3 on a mac)..

Feel a bit of a berk but reckon it'll be of interest to other people who are looking to purchase some kind of bullet cam setup...

Anyone else done this before or am I officially promoted from 'geek' to 'ner ner ner nerrr NERD'?

You're not moved to Nerd yet... you're turning into what I'd call a 'Pro-active Geek' as opposed to a standard geek lol

LOL it's good for random stuff like my new camera - however I neglected to mention that the box includes a 'lens removal tool' which is like a 1-2mm allen key, but the grub screw holding the lens actually has a flat head notch in it...

The generic ones for iPhones and ps3's = ghey though

I was thinking about a new hobby like staring at springer spaniels tbh

youtube has absolutely castrated the quality of the original file - no where near HD but much better than youtube has shrunk it down to. You never know, if I can afford it I'll go for a ContourHD in about 6 months if they're any cheaper (heard a rumour from a guy in the industry that a new HD action camera is coming out which will blow the goProHD and contourHD out of the water allegedly)..
