I deffo camping/whatever this year I really wish I had last year. Just one question: Will the drinking etc be taking place away from the site and if so how secure will our kit be? I have never really camped anywhere other than the workers compound at Glastonbury and I had nothing as valuable as bike kit there.

Well I was merely going on previous years. However DarylB PM'd suggesting that we make it a Saturday (I'd been thinking exactly the same thing). So that would actually be ideal. If most peeps were to come up on Friday, party through the night (though please respect myself and Mrs jonboy will retire to our tent at 9pm - though we maybe back out later ), then on the Saturday we could have an early afternoon start (allowing those who don't wish to arrive on Friday time to get to the destination), have a 100 mile ride during the afternoon and then back for more partying on Saturday night. Sunday could be a relaxed wake up, breakfast at leisure, then peeps can depart with plenty of time and no pressure to get home.

What do folks think?

Sounds like a plan to me Jonboy.

So will yours & Mrs Jonboy's tent be the one with the 'do not disturb' sign on it then?
