Went to a local farm shop today, they also have their own butchery and I made the mistake of asking if they had any chateaubriand...they did.
I managed to get this pic before I finished it as if anyone who loves red meat that you can cut with a spoon has not had this cut, cooked this way, you NEED to do it!!! Off to the pub to wash it down..... ![]() |

but it's only been seared its not cooked. now if you could roll that in some nice brussels pate and then roll in short crust and sprinkle some sesame seeds on stick it in the oven for 30-40mins i would be down in a jiffy.
