Been a few times, its really good fun if not a little surreal. Its a go kart track so some of the corners are tight and the surface changes about 3x. Its not as smooth as Anglesey thats for sure
Well worth a visit. Might be interested depending on what time you get there?

Re: 3 Sisters Wigan Tues 8th May
I knew it wouldn't be as good as Anglesey but £10 for 7 laps I'm gonna have to give it a go. Time to work on getting my knee somewhere near the floor.
They only seem to do the charity ride things on weekdays so I imagine I could be there for half 5 - 6ish depending how quickly I can get out of work. |

Re: 3 Sisters Wigan Tues 8th May
Did a few test days there & raced a couple of times. If it's dry, its brilliant to learn cornering, I popped my Knee down cherry there. If its wet, its as slippy as hell.
We were there yesterday for the opening round but it was called off due to the weather.

With all the rain yesterday I wouldn't have left the house if I didn't have to go to work, never mind going on a track! I'll keep an eye on the forecast & keep my fingers crossed

Re: 3 Sisters Wigan Tues 8th May
Raced there half a dozen times or so. Very tight and twisty, a great performance leveler against bigger bikes (An MZ250 classic had the lap record for years)
If you cant get a knee down there then forget it, it aint going to happen on the road Loads of fun, its practically on our doorstep so well worth a go. Beware the lack of run off area though, nowhere near as much as Anglesey. If you run off at speed, you will hit something. |

Yer take it easy on first lap as said the corners are a bit tight, I gunned it out of the pit lane on first lap and was almost off on the first bend!
Nice and easy to get your knee down though! |
