Service Schedule Confusion.
I know , this has probably been talked about on the site several times but i'am confused.
I bought a new K6 SV Sport in June this year , it's had its 500 mile check done within the first month of owning it and now it must be getting close to it's first service. I was wondering is the service schedule 4000 miles or 6 months which ever comes sooner or is it 4000miles and 12months? I've contacted several garages and each one says something different than the other one. Please Help Thanks |

4000 miles or twelve months which ever comes round first. As Dirty Dog says it will tell you in the owners manual.

I called 4 dealers before consulting my manual. Only 1 of the dealers was correct. Prices ranged from £90 to £200!!!! The dealer I purchased my bike from (Appleyards, Leeds) provided me with a service sheet on delivery which stipulated 3500mls. At 6mths they sent me a reminder I'll be using Powersport in Bradford as they will service the bike on a Saturday while I wait and for £100 (£115 inc filter). They also got the service scheduling correct. |

Re: Service Schedule Confusion.
Which filter costs £15?
Hope its an air filter, if not you're being bent over

Re: Service Schedule Confusion.
Chris,
It was "£15 or so" I'd recheck prior to booking in and I have another 700mls to do until the service is due. |

Re: Service Schedule Confusion.
Well if its an oil filter, take your own, they're only about a fiver.
