Default Ducati survey!

Being a proud owner of a machine produced by the famous Bologna factory I felt duty bound to complete their survey in connection with the Hypermotard.

I was amused by the fact that they gave the option of choosing either :

A) 100bhp 2 valve motor

B)140bhp 4 valve motor.

As you can imagine I agonised for all of 2 seconds! Bring it on and show me the price tag is all I can say!

Amongst other things that Bologna is famous for is the Mortadella sausage.

In America, this is known as Bologna, which has, by turns, evolved into Baloney....a load of which some people have been known to talk (and write). Not you, old boy, I hasten to add - this is a rare moment of self-deprecation!!

I just thought to myself that it wouldn't sound the same if someone said to me: "El Boc, you write a load of old Ducatis..."

And why is it Baloney and not Hamburger... or Cumberland Link come to that...

I think I'll go now.....................

There can only be a big improvement on that multistrada.

You may have noticed that I omitted to enter a positive tick in my own survey above?! Rather foolish I know but degeneration of brain cells can lead to such over sights, which I hope you can all understand and forgive.

This wasting of grey matter has me seriously considering the Hyopermotard should it become a reality.I would also love to get my hands on an 888 the bike that preceded the 916. That would be my ultimate tinker and odd tootle bike.

I know,I know it's sad! Especially when they dont come with Honda build quality!

I wonder who's post was removed above? As it obviously led Kwak to ponder the price of the bike mentioned?

Bikeageboy...I hardly think that is a Ducati issue is it? Sounds like your pal would take any bike and make it look a mess after a short while. How good would your bike look right now if you had lent it to him for the 8 months mentioned? Exactly!

I had one of the Desmo 250 singles when I was a teenage tearaway and great fun it was.The posing thread has got nothing on that little yellow number. .Nowadays I would love a 916 series as a weekend toy as I still think of it as the best looking bike ever, but I would struggle to live with it.
