March Meat Run!
OK, who's up for the second annual Meat Run?
I'm looking at a very similar route to the last one, with the obvious stop off at the pub*, but I'll get the ending right this time. I'll post up the exact route in the next day or two but I want to see when people want to have it first. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th weekend, and either Saturday or Sunday? I'm easy on date but would prefer a Sunday as I play rugby on Saturdays now, however, I'll happily go with the majority. * For those new to the EAR, or who didn't make last year, or who do not know the legend of teh Meat Run; The half way stop off was at a pub that gave everyone a raffle ticket on our way in. We though it was a draw to see who would get out alive but tirned out to be a random prize draw for a load of raw meat. Of which Marco won a full english breakfast Let's see what this year brings! |

Re: March Meat Run!
Should be there all being well. I would prefer something closer to the start of March rather than the end...the wifey is due to give birth on the 24th...but don't let me sway it as 1) the the birth could come earlier and scupper plans regardless and 2) I am sure if I can't make it there will be more ride outs to attend as the weather gets better

I want to attend, but it's probably gonna be too cold for me still and I doubt I'll have the new tyres and mot done by then either. Also I go down to 6 points from 9 in may so it might be sensible for me to wait until then.

Re: March Meat Run!
Can do the 5th & 6th no problem and probrably the 20th, if MIL can have the kids, as the wife is on nights at the weekend.
Depending on which date the majority goes for, then I could take time off, as I've worked my contracted Saturday & Sunday hours for this financial year by then.
