carbs needing balanced

camchain tensioner stuck

tickover needing adjusted

low oil, if its been run on low oil then engine will likely be toast.

How long ago did you fit the new plugs? Are they tightened up snug, or could one have worked loose a little? Are the plug caps fitted tightly?

vacuum leak, did any pipes get disturbed when fitting new plugs ? sometimes old pipes are OK until they get moved and then they leak.
