Missing Wales this weekend, having booked the ferry in January is somewhat bittersweet.

OTOH I have no doubts I will pass my exams on Friday and the future career prospects are looking good, no job offers on the table quite yet but I'm feeling confident and almost ready to get back at it (the working world)

A belated thank you to everyone for your kind words of support and encouragement. It’s meant a lot to me just now.

Not being allowed into A&E with an overnight bag for the wife.

Fortunately she was stacked in one of the ambulances outside so they brought her past me and I was able to hand it to the paramedic.

Amazing took her to the local hospital who immediately requested a transfer to covid central. I waited with her until she was placed in the ambulance, went home and packed her bag. Drove to Preston and she had not been admitted BP of 88/31 blood leaking everywhere and the local hospital 2 miles away say sorry We have shut down A&E cannot help her.

Got a phone call this afternoon, 5 hour in the ICU waiting room and an hour with her unconcious on a ventilator. Spoke to surgeon and **** or bust tomorrow. I will be so annoyed if they denied me time last night whilst she was still awake.
