grain or kit?

i have about 300 bottles in the lockup and a large assortment of brewing kit. i had to stop making beer and turbo cider as i was drinking every night. i do miss the Ditch's stout and aussie lager though and never did find a decent special or 80/.

i have pretty much stopped drinking as its not good for diabetes.

Kits only I am afraid. Got a big garden, Bake my own sourdough bread, like cycling, walking and lacking internal space to go the whole hog. After saying that the kits today are really good (I have a willing clientèle only too willing to deplete my stock!)
Hard luck re the diabetes, my Dad developed it and it did cause him a lot of problems in his later years

Got to ride one of my favourite roads yesterday for the first time in a while. And it was mostly empty too!

Had a test ride on a ... Harley Davidson XR1200, always loved the look of the flat track Harleys, not everyone's cuppa tea granted but tbh ... I was quite impressed, bags of torque, quite docile in traffic and not really showing signs of it's weight, twist the throttle and it's off like a stabbed rat! Not really that vibe either as it's been tuned to give more usable grunt and balanced differently from the standard 1200 sportster.
All in all ... a really nice Harley and just a little different from the norm.
I think it would be prudent to have it for a longer test ride but as it's not new the dealer was reluctant to extend that courtesy .
Would I buy it based on the short time I rode it ??? Probably not. It's £8,500 with 4,000 miles on it so it's totally mint. But that's a fair amount of wedge for an impulse purchase eh!

Good, not seen that in East Anglia yet. Still around £1.69 at the cheapest

Treating myself to a new PC. After 12 years I think the old one is due for retirement.

I sort of fancied one of those but never got round to a test ride. You don't see many about though.
