Battery Charger
Could this be used to charge a new battery - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7C12107502.htm ??
It says a quick charge with a 5amp current but this is 6amps... would it damage it?? Its a Yuasa YB12XT-BS battery for a curvy.... |

i think off the top of my head it will charge the battery at its max charge rate which will take 1h, its not recommended to do that.
go down to halfords, get one of their "Automatic" chargers, it has a Bike & Car setting, which is then 1-2A for Bike and higher for cars, plus it can do sealed & non sealed batteries. Or go to HG and get one of the optimates etc....
