... they should make it as standard. I would be happy taking that to a car meet.

Hmmm not sure about this one. It seemed to prove only two things:
1) German thrash metal should be banned from the Planet 2) A bike engine in a smart car makes it doughnut I was hoping they would show some track action and how it handled with all that power rather than a bloke destroying tyres in a circle. Clever bit of engineering though. |

I'd have one, you could do dougnuts when stuck behind the bus on the high street
Love the "shove it in a van" get away. Cheers Mark.

I'm not sure I'd want to go that fast in one of those
You can get kits to convert Mini's to rear wheel drive with sportsbike engines as well. |

Dont knock the smart. I watched some crash tests of one. It bounced, yes bounced off the concrete block at 30mph. They said that the car would survive, but the occupants wouldnt due to the immense shock to the system. There was another Smart with a bike engine. It was all done to look like a proper and was in Autocar iirc |

I was thinking more about stability/COG
Now put a Gixxer engine in one of those little SMART roadsters and I'd have a go |
