No. You're good. I've got a Tamron EF 90mm to strip down. That should be fun. At least there are no electronics in yours.

A customer dropped it. Tamrons quote to repair it s more than a price of a new one. Focusing is hunting at the close up end. I think the stabiliser is borked too.

Admin, are there any third party M4/3 lenses? I can't see much apart from Olympus or Panasonic. Edit: Scrap that, just seen the price on a Tamron model, think I'll hold out for a used Olympus or Panny lens.

Minolta AL arrived this afternoon, looks good. Not checked the meter but it's quite responsive (selenium), shutter speeds work from 1/1000 to 1s and the self timer runs smoothly. The RF is mainly fine but when you go from closest range outwards it goes right then left instead of just left, also the vertical alignment is a bit off, so hopefully it just needs a twiddle. Glass is clean, nothing else to do (if the meter is okay or adjusts in). No case but it has strap lugs already. 45mm f/2 Rokkor PF. Actually a bit bigger than I'd imagined, it's the size of the Konica S more or less, maybe I've been using the Contessas for too long! They're pretty small.

That's not a Minolta I'd heard of before but I bet the lens delivers.

I was adjusting a rangefinder the other day that would do that. It's like it was hitting a stop or something. Can't remember what it was. It was ok going the other way though. I've seen a Yashica Electro 35 for £20, not sure whether to go for it or not. Might have to try my Tamron 28mm on the G1.

£20 is a great price. Go for it if it looks decent. Still haven't used mine.
Here's a side by side of a Zuiko 50mm and the 35-70 zoom.

Wow, that is compact. Mine was posted out today so I should see it in a few days. Hoping it will be an easy fix.
