Default Tyres

Hi, where do you good folks recommend for tyres in the crewe/stoke-on-trent/congleton roundabout region?

Tried bikerz up in Hanley, but they seem pricey. £250 for BT-021s fitted, £220 for Z6s. £182 for road attacks which seems better, but shopping around since the other prices seem so high. Trouble is tyre places aren't exactly on every corner.

every time. Fit them yourself or get them fitted in a garage. £40 will do it if you ask nicely!

These guys are really good, although you may not want to travel that far. I paid ?205 for a front and rear BT021 fitted.

Another vote for Buckley tyres, although you might not want to travel that far. Hopefully someone more local will come along in a bit...

Sorry, but I'd have to give Buckley Tyres another vote here ... excellent ride-in/ride-out service. Apologies but don't know anywhere around the Crewe/Stoke-on-Trent/Congleton area

At least if you go to Buckley Tyres you have a fair chance of getting the new tyres almost scrubbed in by the time you get back home

I normally buy mine from Round & Black off Ebay, then get my son to fit them at Crewe Tyre & Exhaust on West St Crewe. I think they will fit them for anyone & wouldn't charge much. You would have to take the loose wheels tho.
Here's a link to Round & Black. If you ring them without using Ebay, they sometimes knock a little off as well

Got some road attacks from there today, thanks very much for the info, I would never have known he was there otherwise, he's not even in the yellow pages. They were nearly ?40 cheaper than Bikerztyres in Hanley wanted, and he obviously knows exactly what he is doing, couldn't fault his work or the care he showed my bike.
