Yes but on an FI bike the ECU, which controls all the fuelling, has no idea a restrictor is fitted.

As you have the Pointy the only sensible method of restricting it is getting a 33bhp ECU from Suzuki, simply plugs in. Unfortunately this will cost, the kit is only free when you buy a new or secondhand bike from an official dealer (despite what some dealers say this has always been the case since Suzuki introduced an official restrictor). Might be worth trying to blag one for free, some dealers are more friendly than people give them credit for.

(completely off topic for a sec, sorry) Dave is it possible/worth it to put a curvy carbed engine into a pointy frame?
