Other way round I know, but I work in Holland and get paid into my uk bank account in Sterling no problem. I worked for a German company before and also was paid direct to an English account

I found this out last time I bought some bits on Ebay from Germany, shocking the fees that were charged by the backs. In the end I sent the guys Euros by signed for delivery. Was a bit nervous but to be frank I decided I'd rather risk losing 75 quid to a theif than give it under duress to a corporate con system.
Bits arrived no problem |

Bollo**s to that.
Within the EU money transfers up to a high amount (don't know it exactly but i think 10000€) is free You just need the Iban/Bic code of the Bank account where you want to transfer the money to. I do this at lease twice a month as I still have an Austrian Bank account & need to shift money from UK/Austria. |
