Main Beam problem
SV650s K3
When I use the 'Pass' button, nothing happens - ie, normal dipped headlight remains on but no main beam. When I switch the main beam button on, all of the headlights go out. Tried swapping bulbs but that hasn't sorted it. Is it likely to be a fuse or switchgear problem? Need to get it sorted as its MOT time in a few weeks. Thanks very much for any advice Lee |

Re: Main Beam problem
Sounds like it may be an earth problem on your main beam make sure all the connection are clean and tight

Re: Main Beam problem
Have you checked the high-beam circuit's fuse? Might just be blown/loose/non-existant e.t.c.

Re: Main Beam problem
High and low beam share their 'earth', so if it were duff neither would work.
Like Matt says; check the fuse, if not that then the problem lies somewhere on the line: - Yellow wire in left side switchgear to block connector, (after junction dip/pass switch). - Block connector loom/left side switches. - Yellow/blue wire from block to fusebox. - Fusebox connections and holder. - Yellow wire from fusebox to headlight connector. - Headlight connector. Re: Main Beam problem
He said he swapped the bulbs, so unless both bulbs highbeam filament has blown then it's not that.
