Police bikers dont like other bikers... - SV650.org

Just went out for a quick ride to my parents to pick some bits up. I checked the time and it was 4:30pm. Knowing it would be rush hour traffic on way back I took the sv out!

On way back got pulled over and he did me for my numberplate (small 7x5) and also my exhaust which isnt 'E' stamped. It doesnt say 'not for road use' either, but apparently that doesnt matter.

I hope a bomb lands on his house, *****.

Im guessing ill have to change them both now, but doesnt anyone know what would happen if I didnt and was pulled over again?

Riding with illegal plates and cans is asking for trouble somewhere down the line, its not his fault you've got them on your bike, and if chavs in cars with funny plates and baked bean cans get pulled, bikers with the same should too.

The problem with smaller plates is that they stand out.
The chances are that if your plate was legal, he wouldn't have pulled you over and then wouldn't have looked at your can.

I just don't understand the idea of putting small plates on your bike all it does is draw more attention to you, and gives them an excuse to pull you over and check over the rest of the bike. If you had a normal plate he wouldn't he wouldn't have stopped you and noticed your exhaust.
