That's where it is. But don't worry, we've left now and I didn't have a alcohol free lager until I got to Derbyshire. I'm now drinking Earl Grey on the banks of the river Derwent which runs through the garden of our B&B. Then I'm off for a ride around the Peaks.

Tootled along the Cat & Fiddle today and I've swapped the Earl Grey for some of that southern shandy now.

OK, going back a few weeks but I've had chance to sift through a few more pics today. I have a feeling this is the one you mean. And yes, the feet, especially his left foot, look a bit odd compared to the overall decrepitude of the rest of the statue.

Damn, if only I'd known about the Bat Mobile being there! Not only is it one of my all time favourite cars, as I had the Dinky toy as a kid, but my 11 year old is obsessed with Batman right now! That is one cool car.
