If you really dont like them fine, but give them a chance on a dry day first.

If you're going to change them, then stick with something in the Sport Touring Range, so that'll be

Metzler Z6
Pirellia Diablo Strada
Bridgestone 021
Michellin Pilot Road 2

Any of those will be OK, you'll get a nice mix of grip and durability...

Hello there. I do love the old which tyres should I fit debate. the answer is what ever you find suits you best!!!

different people like the feel of different tyres both profile and pressures. I personally went from the standard dunlops to the pirelli diablo then the avon storm st then the Avon viper front with a storm rear the to viper sport front and standard viper rear then to avon viper sports front and rear then to the bridgestone 016's and finally after much deliberation to the Pirelli Dragon supercoras pros, sc1 front sc2 rear with a 120 70 front and 160/70 rear.

out of all of them the most confidence inspiring were the avons but i got fed up of spending £200+ every 3 months so i went to the drangons and loved them £60 fitted ( ex race tyres) loads of grip plenty of feed back and nice sharp response ( just how i like it ) although you do have to take it steady in the wet.

i suppose the main thing is to try as many diffent brands and models until you find a tyre you happy with and most importantly Check your tyre pressures before every ride 1lb here or there can make alot of difference dont be scared to experiment take your time and take things steady you dont get any prizes for being first to the grave.

all the best
