Not knowing anyone
I have to admit, after being a forum regular for a bit, I have never actually been on a AR. It justs make me a bit nervous about not knowing anyone!
Please put me mind at rest!

the normal way is to rather than just use the forum actually get out and meet some of the folks in your area or indeed other areas, then when you go to an AR you have a mix of those you've already met and those you haven't, after all bikes aren't just for talking about over the internet you know.

Yeah Rictus i know that, but I have been unable to ride my bike since October after damaging both my knee cartlidges! I am only back on 2 feet again after a long time off, and now I have 3 months of Physio and and another operation.
I have read your knee problems and it gives a lot of inspiration btw! |

if you love something you find a way, if it can't be done conventionally you adapt and over come, I know all about being off the road and not being able physically to ride, but that's the one (and only time) scooters are allowed......
