Default Identifying mystery caliper spring/shim?

Afternoon folks,

Been doing a huge amount of work to the bike over the past week and am now starting to put it all back together again.
I've had the brake calipers apart to put new seals in them but I've got a spare spring/shim part which I kinda recognize but can't remember where it goes and can't see it in any of the reference pictures I took.

If anyone could let me know where it goes that'd be greatly appreciated.

Well shims like that on car brake calipers normally clip over the bit in the caliper where the location 'ears' on each end of the pads slide. Normally called anti-rattle shims or abutment clips.

I use them all the time alongside my WSM as a counter reference and easy to see on the Laptop/PC before and during working on things i'm not sure of

Sometimes I take a piccy of the page I need with my Smartphone and can then reference quick in the Garage
