If you know someone going in a van/car, then get them to take a quiet can just in case, but I don't think you will get sound checked at s-stone!!

If you don't know anyone that can take it, then indeed, you are better of playing safe and putting the quiet one on!!
I know my bike is about 104.5db lol, so it will be fine! Well i don't have a spare can or baffle for it!

I know its a logarithmic scales, but that is a bit close to the wire ... you might have a very short day my friend

If it turns out it is over the 105, you won?t be able to race it at certain tracks either! (some are 101 aren't they??)

Nah its fine, besides the whole test is a bit subjective as temeperature affects the test along with a few other things. Also I have been told if its sligtly over then, they don't mind. Also I can also say for sure, same test done later on will produce different results.

That is my point ... at 104.5 you don't have a lot of room to play with ...

If they are being @nal about it (and you do get some jobsworths out there) if it is 105.1, that is the end of your day!!

Its a bit like speeding, some will do you if you are 1mph over the allowance, so on a motorway, 77+3 = 80mph, they would have you at 81, others will let say 89 actual (prolly 95 indicated) slide on a deserted motorway ... it depends on the tester/copper ...

p.s. next time I get pulled, can I name drop you and get off scott free, perhaps even a police escort?!!?

Raised the demon of track days with the missus the other day, had one of those 'grown up chat" things what Girls like, and I'm gonna be going on track again soon!

With the proviso that I'm NOT allowed to let the red mist descend...

As you know, all the places are taken, that doesn't mean that some might become available.

Even if you don't get a spot, u could always just come along for a watch/chat/social/photo

I'd rather have a Bear without red mist than no Bear.
