factory settings.

working on a friends sv today and noticed suspension settings had been altered. just wondered is there any general favoured settings for better handling etc.

Pointy or Curvy?

I was quite happy with my curvy before all my suspension mods.
The settings were: Front pre-load 3 lines showing and Rear Pre-Load was up on 6. I weigh 13.5 stone btw.

why did you make the change and did it improve?

The rear shock was always on 6 since I got the bike. Only realised when I went to stiffen it up for taking Kerri on the back that I was already up from Factory Settings.

I stiffened up the front by one notch at first for no particular reason other than I was bored at work so decided to change them.
When I got on the bike I found it was not a massively noticable difference but I felt more comfortable going round corners than before. I then notched it up again and found that to be the best position for me.
