Default Been and ordered it!

Been to the local Suzuki dealers today and ordered a new Red K5 SV650S. Am picking it up hopefully on Thursday. As he one am getting is a pre reg bike (06 plate).

I was going to get the lower fairings on it but I could not justify the £384 for 2 bits of plastic.

How come genuine Suzuki add ons for the K6 cost more then they do on past bikes?

What makes you think they do?
£384 is less than it used to cost for lower fairings.

No he's right, they've put the prices up!
Lower fairings for K6 £384, for K3-K5 they're £375
Seat cowl for K6 is £66, for K3-K5 it's £42
Bellypan for K6 is £239, for K3-K5 it's £227
Rear hugger for k6 is £160, for K3-K5 it's £147 to £154

These prices are off the Suzuki website.

The prices for the K3-K5 items have been like that for the last few years, they were a little more when the pointy version, the K3 at the time, first came out but they were reduced, as was the price of the SV650, when the K4 came out.

You should have asked for a discount on the extras though, they would probably have discounted them as even a small profit is better than no profit.

Let us know how the new bike is when you get it Wadda??

I'm seriously considering a new 650S as soon as I sort my finances out - I'm trying to find a local dealer that's able to offer test rides ATM

Did you get any special deal/extras/finance etc with it??
