Default Pics of my modded k4 sv "the bike i bought on ebay"

Heres a few pics of my sv just after i'd gave it a quick clean.

Got a track day booked for sat so mirrors are removed at the mo.

sv damage repairable looked like this when i bought it. (bought on ebay)

parts to fix it up were r/h footrest, forks, rear plastics and brake light, brake discs and brake lever (all sourced from ebay) The headlight, r/h mirror and top fairing still have some light scratches but i'm not to worried about that.

seat cowl (bought new becasue it was cheaper then buying from ebay!!)

wheels painted black with fluro yellow rim tape (paint and tape bought on ebay)

remus high level with baffle removed and heat wrap on pipe to stop my boots melting (exhaust and heat wrap bought on ebay)

tail tidy (ebay)

gsxr rear shock and k-tech springs in front with 15w oil (bought on ebay)

mini clear lense indicators (again from ebay)

r&g crash bungs (ebay surprise surprise)

f fabbri light tint double bubble screen (bought new couldnt find one on ebay)

r6 throttle tube ( £7.57 from yamaha)

continental road attacks very part worn (ebay and fitted and balanced by me)

gold chain, renthal 3 teeth bigger rear and standard size front sprockets (bought new)

front and rear paddock stands (ebay)

bar end weights (ebay)

might have missed some bits??

Looking for a gsxr front end now and some type of full fairing to make it look nice.

Ive never seen a heat shield like that - looks like its a tube off a tumble dryer! Nice looking bike though mate and you've obviously put the effort into it.

i'm not sure what his user name was tbh mate. I've just had a look on my ebay but with all the bits i've been buying on ebay i cant see which one was the bike lol.

It was from manchester tho if thats where yours was from?

The bloke selling it buys and sells damage reapaiables on ebay as his business. When i collected it he was a pretty big guy and drove a subaru impreza....sound the same?

That sounds the fella. It was in Astley, Manchester if that rings a bell and i think the name was DB Motorcycles.

Lol. If that damaged pic is at his house i recognised the alleyway where he photos all his bikes.
He was a good bloke to deal with.

I will have to post some pics up of mine as you mention a full fairing. I got my full race fairing from Carbontech.

Looks like exhaust heat wrap, its ment to increase proformance of the bike and also keep things nearby cool.
