Saw Gorillaz last night, a warm up show at Brixton Academy which is one of my favourite venues. They only changed £5 entry, had loads of collaborators there including Graham Coxon, De La Soul, Kano and Shaun Ryder with an amazing light show and Jamie Hewlett's graphics.

I took the 22 year old along as Mr LPH was busy. The lad had never been to a proper London gig before. I think I've ruined him because they played a storming 2 hour set, a lot of other shows will be dull by comparison.

I had to smile at Corbyn coming on telly and saying he had won and was ready to form a government, Labour got fewest seats and fewest votes - what does he not understand about democracy, or maybe he just never learnt to count.

Three good things to smile about, Clegg got kicked out, Mrs shouty mouth in Scotland got a good slapping and lib dems got wiped out in Wales (and did not do very well anywhere else).

I wouldn't be so sure Corbyn didn't understand. I suspect he understands better than most. He and McDonnell clearly know their history. Look back at 28 February 1974. The irony is there to amuse you.

Nice day again here. BBQ replaced. Sons football presentation. Fiddling with the Sv.
Sounds like a good day to me!

Hoorah. Know the feeling - I treated myself to a new Arai Axces 3 yesterday. It looks just like my old Chaser but quieter and does not smell mouldy, plus Lady Poppy has not noticed.

The only shame was I really wanted a flip front jobbie but none of them fitted me properly.

Caberg duke flip front worth a try, they have a flip down sun visor and supply pinlock insert as standard and a pretty quiet helmet, also much less buffeting than my AGV

Are you fed up of Pot Noodles and takeaways yet Mav?

Bibs, you're quite right, they are very light. Especially compared to the modular ones I had been trying on. Looks like I'll be shelling out another 50 notes for a light reactive Pinlock though to make up for the lack of sun visor.
