just for those who are flapping, you want to navigate your way onto the a1237 - its the outer york ring road and runs from the south west of york (it starts at the a64) and runs up & over the top of york, round to meet with the a64 again.

You want to drive along the a1237 until you see the signs for "Clifton Moor Retail Park" - not to be confused with "Monks Cross retail park" around 3-4 miles away..

Again, we will be meeting at the burger king which shares the massive carpark with the massive tesco. I'll be there from around 9:45, parked so my bike is visible from a good way away...



if I'm not stood at my bike, it'll be because of rain, so I'll be sat inside the burger king having a cuppa and some porridge.

Woooo 35 miles to get there. 40 mins. Set off at 9am ish.

Oh and I forgot to add - there WILL now be a fuel stop at 'northallerton' or point d on the route - this is around 65 miles into the ride iirc from the recce today. It's not the biggest but I'm sure we'll get in there and get it done. With the overall route being 116 miles, this is just over half way so should serve us well

Strike me off please, to far to get there for the start and the forecast over is dismal

sorry and all that i don't mind getting a bit wet on a ride but getting wet going to one is not on
