All clocks from the same series of bikes (eg. pointy & curvey) will fit each other.

If you are talking about putting a set of clocks from a faired bike on an unfaired then its a diffrent thing. You will need the front sub frame for a faired bike and it will fit. The frames of the curvey and faired are the same so it will mount correctly to the headstock, but then you will have a problem fitting the normal single light. The loom is a tad diffrent.

Have looked at http://www.banditmania.co.uk/digital_clocks.htm for aftermarket clocks.

Here is an ebay ad for an instrument panel....will that fit my 2001 650....it is slightly different in looks and not sure how it attaches to the bike...if anyone can give me some input it'd be greatly appreciated.

We aquired my SV from our son who wrecked it( he is ok, but doesn't want the bike anymore) so we are fixing it up....was debating on fixing it for track or street.

Anyone know of an aftermarket tach/oil pressure gauge that'd be compatible with the ECU???

That is a curvy- and a good looking one at that. Pointies are... well... pointy.

Basically, all the curvy SVs with that sort of frame are carbed, and while there's a few variations from year to year they're pretty much interchangable. All the ones with the different frame (and the twin LED tail lights) are pointy, have fuel injection, and assorted differences from year to year. The two versions of the SV share surprisingly few parts.
