GSX-R Stuff.
Just been offered a nearly new GSX-R 600 front end (04-05), both wheels and wavey rotors as well as all brake lines and master cylinder etc.
Thing is, the guy (my mate) doesn't know how much to sell it to me for. What do ya think I should offer him for it so I can fit it to my K3? Regards

That only included the forks and callipers. Front wheel I think is about £150 Are you getting a mudguard too? |

Re: GSX-R Stuff.
It'll be the whole front end and the rear wheel! He says as new condition and he's a mate so I trust him.
Gonna offer him £200 and see if he goes for it I think.

Re: GSX-R Stuff.
You thief The wheels alone are probably worth more than that...

Re: GSX-R Stuff.
Oh, will the rear shock be a good match for me and my bike?
I'm about 10.5 stone and ride quite spirited but also like a bimble through town/rush hour traffic? Regards

Re: GSX-R Stuff.
All that stuffs worth the best part of a grand. Not what you wanted to hear of course, but if you want to give your mate a fair price... (but remember that you can sell on your SV front end to get most of that money back).
As for the GSXR shock, I'd advise against it. Sure it's better than the original, but if you're up grading the front you'd be better off doing the back properly too. |

If you have problems finding the correct clip-ons then I have some spare in the garage that I'm not keen on selling but could help you out if needed PS Dont forget to budget for the tyre it's a 120/70 17 if I remember correctly. |
