Default Some good news (Well for me)

The boss called me to the pub yesterday, I thought "Somethings up".

He tells me he is really sorry, but the site's over budget and he has to release me from my current position.

First think, bugger...

Than realise I work for logica and that I can now find a project closer to home!

WOOT!!

I am so tried of the run into london day in and day out, so now hopefully I can get up at a resonable time and be home for a reasonable time!

Got five weeks left

Not major news, but its made me really happy and just wanted to share.

Cheers

Rich

Excellent news Rich!

I hope Logica never release me from this project or I would be stuffed!

It'll all come good in the end....

I resigned (from Easynet) in Feb because I'd just had enough of their poor management and "blame culture". Have done some work on the house and yesterday got a new job with a small but expanding SI just 20 minutes away, same sort of money but better conditions. And it's not in London

So it does all come together mate....

One of the good things about working for Logica is that you can leave a project and "go on the bench" while you either a) look for another project within Logica or b) get another job!

Not much use to me as the nearest project to Norfolk is Brentwood in Essex

Cheers Folks!

All the travling was starting to get to me and Anna and I was having trouble getting the energy to keep going.

Your both tried and ratty and you end up arguing about somthing so trival that its silly.

So I am over the moon!

Cheers

Rich

Been thinking of going on the bench for a little while, currently looking on LARS for something near Wellingborough, looking at some Desktop roles in Luton, much better journey for me, since I am in Wellingborough.

I knew you gave me a bottle of wine for a reason last night

Seriously - now you're getting out of London - My turn

More money, less office politics (if I pick the job right ) and no getting up at 0430 anymore

Enjoy the search for something you want to do instead of have to do
