Default Return to the fold !

Hiya all rem me ( well the guys in Scotland ) I was the owner of a yellow curvy and I kinda drifted away , swapped my bike for a cbr 6 ,sold that and had various cars since then ,so Iv not been on a bike for years .
But now I want another and guess what I want ,,,,I want the sv v twin in my life again,so I'm basically starting all over again ,and on the hunt for one ,I would prefer a naked for the more upright riding position (mine was the faired one , ) and I think now I'm older and stiffer it'd b sore wrists, anyway glad to b back

Howzitgaun Jim?

Good to hear you are needing a two-wheel fix again.

Good luck in the search. I would class the nakeds as rare especially the version of your auld blobby and those nekkids were never bettered. Have a look at Street Triples and MT-07's too.

GSX14 no more. I went full touring nerd 4year ago with a Crosstourer DCT. I bring out its bad side though! Can't help it as it has some soundtrack.

Have heard a few MT-07's on the road and they sound glorious. Well nearly as glorious as a proper twin.

Welcome back.It took me quite a while and wait to find my Naked 1999 SV X(16k Miles) but I knew I wanted the ,"Sit-up-and-beg" position after sitting on a M8's SV650S.I too am of that age with some now minor shoulder damage and a few niggling neck aches that I couldn't handle the lower riding position for any length of time of the ,"S" types.
I also wanted the Carb versions as that's what I'm used to working.

Having set-up my SV how I wanted it I can now do over 200 miles in a day without any problems

It looks mint and has obviously been looked after and mileage is pretty low, but still an 18 year old bike. Decisions, decisions, is it worth paying same for a later injected bike that would need a bit of work to get it up to same look, and do you really like yellow LOL.

No bids so far and only 3 hrs left, may be worth a low bid.
