Suspension Sag
Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but i couldn't find it.
Got the following figures for sag: Front: Static sag - 25mm Active sag - 40mm (40mm from fully extended, is that how you are supposed to measure it?) Rear: Static sag - 8mm Active sag - 30mm (again fron fully extended) Are these figures about right? I had some static sag figures in an old copy of PB (F-23mm, R-8mm) but it didn't say anything about active sag, I thought active was the more important of the two? |

Your static sag figures are close enough. I assume by active sag you mean with you sat on the bike in your normal riding position: these figures will only be right if the spring rates are correct for your weight.

Active Sag being rider sag or in laymans terms with you sat on bike.
I used to get mine set around the 25 to 30mm mark for road use 25 for fast road and 30 for bumpier stretches. HTH |
