Sounds pretty exciting. Was it expensive to enter and fund the trip etc?
What gearing are you running now by the way? I'll drop you a PM Last edited by flymo; 17-04-08 at 10:12 AM. |

Not too dear, if your cheeky you can get free entries and some money toward the boat.
Boat's around ?300. Entries ? 70 Start permission ?70 Then all your usual stuff. Not too bad, but we treat it like a holiday away for a week...mint!! |

Respect. As much fun as it looks it takes some guts to actually have a go at that thing. Best of luck to you, I hope you have a good onboard camera set up.

Re: Just got my entry for the NW200 confirmed
To be honest.....no, my SV's in minitwin spec so will be down on power a bit.
But it'll be the knowledge of the track that slows me down Last year at the Ulster we dropped 45 secs from our lap times from the very first practice to the race, which just comes with knowledge of the circuit, I think!?!?! The NW is a tad longer but apparantly easier to learn so we'll see how we go, IMPO you need to keep going back and maybe then........ Trying to get my tuned SV sorted for when we go, but not sure if it'll be done or not....fingers crossed Paul T |
