Default Need Some Help - One Man Tent Required

With the AR coming I just realised I havent possesed a tent since I was a boy scout (i.e a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...)

What I need is something compact and bijou that I can put in a rucksack and sleeps one six footer without having me feet sticking out the end!

As cheap as possible.

What you got??

TIA

Gordon

How's this?

Sleeps 2 (supposedly), packed and bungee'd, it'd be small enough to fit on the bike.

Unpacked, 6.8ft long (and you can always sleep diagonally).

£20 from argos. Jonboy has one. Not for Claustrophobics though

£20 seems more in my price bracket thinking.

Don't intend on having a party in it, just want something to keep the weather out....

Still interested in a second hand one though, but thanks for the advice so far.

The £15 one looks good. I'll be off up there tomorrow.

Do they MEAN disposable on the £8 one, as in use it throw it away? surely not?

Or is it camping speak, like I say its been a while.....

Not sure I want to be in a £20 tent if it gets windy / rainy. If you intend keeping it, go for something a little more expensive (still sub-£50). My lad paid £46 for a Gelert tent that has handled a load of trips over last two years and is still waterproof. Will ask him tonight what model.

OK, a new perspective.

So, cheap and cheerful and gets blown away in the middle of the night or pay a bit more and re-use it again and again....

At the end of the day its all down to the Financial Director anyways.....

Why not just ask if you can share with somebody else?
