paint colour
Hi,
just bought new seat cowl for sv 650 1999. Ok but wrong colour yellow. It is a lot lighter than my bike. Was there two types of yellow for the curvy ? Mine is the darker more orange (orangey ?!) and the cowl I bought is very yellow in comparison. I want to get hold of correct colour paint does anyone know the correct name or number for the darker yellow so I can get some mixed and spray it ? Cheers ! |

is ther no stickers around the tank or fairings with your coloue code on it???
i have a sticker under the tank of my pointy and it says the paint code maby the same for the curvy  .

mines Y9H the lighter one pearl lively yellow
pretty sure the other is Y9F pearl canyon yellow

Which one was yours/Kitkats DD? I just discovered that by pure luck I now have your old tail, which is the same colour as the seat hump and undertray I picked up ages ago in 2 different auctions

Yeap, Y9F was the early better yellow and Y9H was the later lemon yellow.

I've had one of each of the yellow colour and I prefer the darker yellow
