The bike garage thing ?
HiI all,
Got home tonight to find a piece of the wall that my pride and joy is chained to on the floor . I know it has NOT been windy her today by any stretch of the imagination, so I am guessing some little **** has been to have a look at the bike today I guess the 2 dogs put them off, good dogs . So, I was looking in copies of MCN and Ride n others for the "steel bike garage" thing. I think they're about 500 quid. But can I rememebr the name of em..nope! Can you you let me know please? Ta mass Little ****s |

Hmmm, I wonder if their infrared alarms could be set up in a 'normal' garage too?

To be honest, where I live is generally OK, but our garage is at the back of the house, down at the bottom of the garden. It faces away from the house and onto the access road which serves the back of the houses on our street and those on the main road.
Ideal for twocking and teenage smoking as there's little really that directly overlooks it. Someone did try to jimmy the lock a few years back when I last had a bike. A GS that sat unsued in there for 18 months before I eventually relented and sold it. Though we have got additional security bars on the inside I'd rather have something down there that would wake both me and the dog up if someone did manage to get in. |

if its at the bottom of your garden, cant u fit a burgular alarm sensor in the garage, extend the wire so it reaches back to the house and either have it connected into your origional house alarm, or have one fitted for the garage???

The house doesn't have an alarm... and though the garage has power, we only rent so I'd rather not install anything permanent I can't take if I move. (Even though we've lived here for 5 years now!)
That and I'm just desparately now trying to find the funds for a track bike I viewed today... ZX6R mmmmmmm. £1500 and somewhere to put it required early please Santa! |

you can get a cheapy alarm from ARGOS for about £30-£50 and just install it yourself!
then all you need to do, is go to a hardware store and buy alarm wire to extend it. It realy is as simple as that sounds |
