When I bought my new Canon DSLR, I googled a lot and the Lexar professional range were the best value, and in bench tests, faster than equivalent Sandisk offerings.

oh god... so much choice... my brother has now smashed his phone in a fit of alcohol fuelled excitement at having finished his first year at uni and so he is now sending a SanDisc card over in the post... will see how it goes and whether i need anything more at a later date, its a class 10 from the ultra range but only 16Gb.
It arrived today but sadly i've made myself promise to not use it until i finish my finals on friday
