We won't be going this year, but we've had some real bargains in the past couple of years.

I got a set of new Dainese leathers for £100.

Saturday is best for choice, Sunday best for end of show bargains. You have to plough through shed-loads of tat, but there is gold hiding amonst the dross!

I went a few years ago - got a full set of Oxford 'Humpback' luggage (panniers, tail-pack & tank bag) for the price of the tank bag.

Best place and time of year to get winter gear bargains too.

It can be ok if you've got kit you intend to buy and aren't too fussy. If you aren't in the market for kit then I think there is little to recommend it these days.

When I used to live in King's Lynn back in 1985-1989 I would catch the bus to Peterbourgh Showground When the BMF rally was on, wearing full leathers carrying my skidlid... SAD I hear you say...
but always rode home on a motorbike I bought at the show for some bizzare reason... Cheap bikes and instant insurance cover always available...

arrr Great days.

MMM trouble is my girlfriend probably wants to come (stop me spending probably) and she won't go on the back of the bike, I want to see if there are any deals going on leathers too. If she don't go I might take it. Did you go to the Taz open weekend last weekend?
