Think I'm planning on doing Anglesey on the 1st of April on the way back from a mates wedding in Hartlepool!

"Have to"? That's what rental vans are for.

I'd be wary of a day in February, maybe a bit early, especially for your first one. A few of us did Silverstone at the end of October. It was too foggy to do the sighting laps at the start of the day, and I don't think it went above 7 degrees all day. Was OK in the afternoon, but a lot of track time lost.

I've got my eye on Donington on the 24th of March (NL), and maybe a double-header at Cadwell and Snetterton (both FE) the weekend after. Weather should be perking up by Easter.

Problem with hiring a van is you have to hire it from the afternoon before to the morning after and it gets very expensive.

It's not my first ever track day, I've done a few before, I meant my first day of the year.

Last year it was 20 degrees and sunny in late February so the weather can go either way. I'll probably book it a few days before and see what the weather is like.
