It's dead at the moment. Have loaded three fully charged AA batteries, cleaned up the contacts and nothing. Will try a continuity test on it when I find my multi meter. The light meter works though! It's a Yashica Sequelle 35mm half frame.

So is anyone else going to get their film cameras out or is it just me and Johnny?

Am sure you said that before! Yeah I was also wondering if this is going be aka the bromance thread or something.

I'll look up the Sequelle this week when I've got nothing better to do. Three AA batteries?

Not a huge amount of info on the web about taking them apart. I will need to peel off the leatherette but its not something I really want to do. May go in the to do pile. Yeah, it has a battery holder that fits in the back.

Picked up rhe Bilora Bella 35. Was being sold as the shutter wouldn't fire. Slight pressure on the self timer lever revealed it was not fully done. Little more pressure finished it off and the shutter works. Get stuck on bulb and 1/30 though.
